Guided Hike with Sardinian Discovery

The granite massif of northern Sardinia, the mountain of the North!

There are numerous opportunities for hiking in all seasons, even with two feet of snow in winter. From easy walks to more challenging crossing from north to south.

Monte Limbara has a charm unknown to most: streams, waterfalls, small lakes, natural caves. Among the places to visit: the Valliciola plateau, an area for picnics (there is even a hotel) at an altitude of 1050 meters; the mountain church "Madonna of the Snow" (at 1250m); Punta Balistreri, the highest peak of the mountain (at 1359m);"Li Conchi," an area of eroded rocks that provided a natural hiding place to old Nuragic tribes and, more recently, to bandits and shepherds.

We’ll be surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean vegetation: oaks, cork oaks, strawberry trees (corbezzoli, a local fruit), blackberries bushes, and even 30 meters tall redwoods.  And we might even see some animal species: eagles, falcons, partridges and hares.

Ideal place for scrambling.

Easy booking in 2 steps:
