ABOUT SardinianDiscovery.com :  Our story
A hiking enthusiast, I started going to the mountains when I was 6.  I made hundreds of trips in Sardinia, Corsica and Abruzzo (central Italy), first as a hobby then professionally.  Later I also became involved in my second passion: water sports, such as wind surfing, kayaking and rafting.
I started out as a software developer back in 1993, later progressing to project manager, consultant, technical director, quality manager and trainer.  In 2004 I began working as a hiking guide.  In 2007 I joined both professional experiences creating SardinianDiscovery.com and, while continuing as a hiking guide, I also started working on projects for companies:  outdoor training (i.e. team building) and incentives.
In 2011, together with Giuseppina Pintus, I opened 2 kayak centres: one for surf kayaking in Porto Ferro, the other at the Lazzaretto beach.
Over the years I have organized outdoors activities for people with disabilities and now I want to extend these to offer kayak-based activities at the 2 centres.
Today SardinianDiscovery.com is a young and dynamic company that can meet the needs of individuals and groups; we have a large fleet of vehicles (off-road, quad bikes, mountain bikes, kayaks and other water transports); and a complement of guides and trainers who are experts in their field.
